OmniVision, makers of camera sensors for cell phones including the iPhone, has announced a new sensor which will allow 1080p video recording at up to 30 fps and 720p recording at up to 60 fps. The new sensor is also claiming a 20% slimmer design to fit in even thinner smart phones.
