Google, the owner of a little operation known as YouTube, has purchased Green Parrot Pictures.  Green Parrot is known for creating some fancy algorithms that manage to improve the look of poorly shot video…everything from shaky cam, to color enhancement, to de-flicker and more.  Who knows, maybe YouTube may have a button in the future that will make shaky DSLR and cellphone cam footage look watchable.  Read more on YouTube’s blog.
