Jared Abrams from Cinema5D just posted an interview with Tim Smith from Canon USA. Tim lets us know that we won’t be seeing a 5D MkIII this year and also that there are no plans for firmware updates to the 7D and 1D MkIV to add manual audio control. Oh and that 4k Canon video camera we saw at Canon Expo 2010, that was just a concept.
