I’ve been using Adobe products for many years and I always get around to upgrading sooner or later when a new version comes out. Â But when CS5 came out, I got it right away. Â New features like 64bit processing and CUDA graphic support turned my okay laptop into an editing machine.
In this video, HDSLR Coalition demonstrates editing footage in Premiere CS5 right off of a memory card. Â This of course isn’t the ideal way of editing, but it just goes to show how fast and smooth CS5 handles HDSLR footage.
i7 processor….12GB of RAM….not something too fancy…
yea right lol….
still…avid forever 🙂
Awesome!
I have just upgrade my Adobe Suite to CS5 and I saw the difference right away.
My CS4 wasn’t able to play the footage from my Canon 60D smoothly, but CS5 did it immediately.
And I don’t have a 12 Gb RAM PC.
My PC is 4Gb RAM, Processor AMD Quad Core 2.30 Ghz
It’s awesome not to have to transcode all the footage before to edit anymore.
