Nice episode! I actually liked the minimal lighting gear Isaac used. It looked like at most, two 1×1’s, practical lighting and reflectors to bounce light around. Can you comment more on how he made his lighting decisions and how much time was spent, on average, getting each setup ready to go?รย
Setups were relatively quick. Isaac has been working with lighting so much that once he figures out the shot, the lighting is pretty much second nature.
Figured it’d be something like that… I’m not there yet. I’d love to see some BTS footage, start to finish, of varying lighting setups with various DP’s and see how each achieves his/her look.
Cheers!
Awesome. Loved it.
