Most of the rumored features are included in the pre-production model he was working with. The form factor will be very similar to the FS100 while cramming in new features like ND filters and HD-SDI. The camera will shoot 200/240fps (depending on your region) at 1080p! But it doesn’t end there…the camera will also shoot 400fps at a reduced bit rate while still full frame or at 800/960 fps at reduced bit rate with a cropped image. The camera has HDMI out just like the FS100 but now features 3G/HD-SDI. According to Den:

We also discovered that you can record the super slow-mo out onto an external recorder.  We used the Atomos Samurai so you can aquire 200fps at 1080P in ProRes 422.

And if that wasn’t enough of a selling point, the camera is also 4K ready:

The first 4K-ready Super35mm camcorder in its class – providing an assured upgrade path to 4K acquisition and delivery – with full HD 1080p for today. The camcorder will also have the capability to produce 4K RAW 3G-SDI output via a future upgrade.

The only question remains: Will it be in the $8K-$9K price point as originally rumored? If so, it will change the market for sure.
