I fell in love with the beautiful bokeh that I was getting with my 24-70 f2.8 Canon L lens.

The title for the video came from the line of our national anthem, The Star Spangled Banner: “And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,” As I saw the bokeh bursts from the fireworks, it reminded me of this line and the title grew out of it.
