Panasonic GH1 3D Rig

The guys at Beampath are working on a Panasonic 3D stereoscopic rig. I’ve seen several side-by-side 3D rigs with the GH1, but this is the first GH1 3D rig design I’ve seen that utilizes beam splitter technology.

According to their website, they tried working the 5D MkII but were unable to get a firmware hack that would provide adequate sync. However, the GH13 firmware hack is providing to be a better solution.

The rig posted here is the 3D-BS INDIE (beam-splitter) rig by the 3D Film Factory. It’s superior to the DIY rigs for it’s high-grade glass performance and camera mounts that allow for X-Y-Z axis movement for perfect picture alignment. You can see more at http://www.3DFilmFactory.com

AFFORDABLE, PROFESSIONAL 3D BEAM-SPLITTER RIG

The 3D Camera Rig pictured in the photo is the INDIE (stereoscopic beam-splitter) RIG made by the 3D Film Factory. It’s a very affordable, accurate solution for the money and much less expensive than competitive systems.
